“And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people.” (Leviticus 26:12)

Thanks for joining us online today to worship Jesus! Did you know that we have two in-person services now?? Yes! We are going to have two worship services at Calvary Summitview! Scroll down to read more.

The first service will be at 9:00 am9:00 am! Say it with me: 9:00 am! This will be outdoors in our parking lot. We will have both a speaker system for people who want to bring their own chairs and sit outside, as well as the FM transmitter for those who are more comfortable or who out of necessity need to remain in their car. While still following practices of social distance, we will be able to worship together in and out of cars in our paking lot! 9:00 am!!!

The second service will be at 10:30 am in our (being rebuilt) sanctuary. This will be an unplugged worship service that is the same content as the 9:30. We will need to limit this service a bit in terms of numbers.

Whichever you choose attend do, we are behind you and we can’t wait to worship our Triune God together!

We will do a Facebook live of our 10:30 service. You can see that link below!

If you have questions or would like to connect with a pastor, reach out to one of them here.

Worship Through the Reading of God’s Word:

Ps. 40

My Help and My Deliverer

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

I waited patiently for the Lord;
    he inclined to me and heard my cry.
He drew me up from the pit of destruction,
    out of the miry bog,
and set my feet upon a rock,
    making my steps secure.
He put a new song in my mouth,
    a song of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear,
    and put their trust in the Lord.

Blessed is the man who makes
    the Lord his trust,
who does not turn to the proud,
    to those who go astray after a lie!
You have multiplied, O Lord my God,
    your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us;
    none can compare with you!
I will proclaim and tell of them,
    yet they are more than can be told.

In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted,
    but you have given me an open ear.
Burnt offering and sin offering
    you have not required.
Then I said, “Behold, I have come;
    in the scroll of the book it is written of me:
I delight to do your will, O my God;
    your law is within my heart.”

I have told the glad news of deliverance
    in the great congregation;
behold, I have not restrained my lips,
    as you know, O Lord.
10 I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart;
    I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation;
I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness
    from the great congregation.

11 As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain
    your mercy from me;
your steadfast love and your faithfulness will
    ever preserve me!
12 For evils have encompassed me
    beyond number;
my iniquities have overtaken me,
    and I cannot see;
they are more than the hairs of my head;
    my heart fails me.

13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me!
    O Lord, make haste to help me!
14 Let those be put to shame and disappointed altogether
    who seek to snatch away my life;
let those be turned back and brought to dishonor
    who delight in my hurt!
15 Let those be appalled because of their shame
    who say to me, “Aha, Aha!”

16 But may all who seek you
    rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who love your salvation
    say continually, “Great is the Lord!”
17 As for me, I am poor and needy,
    but the Lord takes thought for me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
    do not delay, O my God!

Song Lyrics for Today

Jesu Firm Foundation – #6472799

How firm a foundation, you saints of the lord
Is laid for your faith in his excellent word
What more can he say than to you he has said
To you who for refuge to Jesus have fled

Fear not, he is with us, oh be not dismayed
For he is our god, our sustainer and strength
He’ll be our defender and cause us to stand
Upheld by his merciful, almighty hand

How firm, our foundation!
How sure, our salvation!
And we will not be shaken
Jesus, firm foundation

The soul that is trusting in Jesus as lord
Will press on enduring the darkest of storm
And though even hell should endeavor to shake
He’ll never, no never, no no never forsake
He’ll never, no never, no no never forsake

How firm, our foundation!
How sure, our salvation!
And we will not be shaken
Jesus, firm foundation

Age to age he stands
Faithful to the end
All may fade away
But he will remain
He will remain!

Age to age he stands
Faithful to the end
All may fade away
But he will remain
He will remain!

How firm, our foundation!
How sure, our salvation!
And we will not be shaken
Jesus, firm foundation

How firm, our foundation!
How sure, our salvation!
And we will not be shaken
Jesus, firm foundation
Jesus, firm foundation
Jesus, firm foundation

Great is Thy Faithfulness – #18723

“Great is Thy faithfulness, ” O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

“Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
“Great is Thy faithfulness, ” Lord, unto me!

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

“Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
“Great is Thy faithfulness, ” Lord, unto me!
