Calvary Summitview Student Ministry!

Vision: To make joyful, passionate disciples of students.

God has blessed Calvary Summitview with 4 groups of students to disciple: Calvary Summitview, Newton Middle School, Light of the Nations (Nur al-Alem church), and Calvary Highlands Ranch. Student ministry aims to bring these groups together: churched & unchurched, American & African, and middle & high school.

What: The Gathering

6:00-7:30 pm

Game
Worship songs
Break up into middle and high school groups for lesson
Small group (boys and girls) discussion and prayer
Free time and SNACKS!
After party frisbee and games

Curriculum:

“Abide in Christ” Bible study

When:

Weekly gathering on Sundays! – 6:00-7:30

What else:

Two ministry events over the fall semester chosen by each small group – 1 fun activity and 1 serving event

Who:

The Gathering is an open invitation for friends, classmates, and family

Ways to participate:

Student leadership team (worship team, small group co-leader, and activity/announcement leader)
- Growing in servant-leadership, missional lifestyle, and gospel-fluency
Parent volunteers
- Small group leaders
- Meal/prep/clean up
- A/V
- Teachers
- Game volunteers
