“Summer in the Psalms”

Life can best divided into seasons. Some seasons are rich in growth and transformation. But other seasons seem dry, and we feel like God does not hear us any more.

Psalm 22 speaks to this reality. The Psalmist reminds us that God still hears us, even in our dark places. And what joy we have as Christians that we can read Psalm 22 in light of Jesus, who was forsaken for us on the cross so that we will never be forsaken. Praise God for this reality!
