Worship Pastor

Calvary Summitview (Centennial, CO) seeks a reformed Baptist worship leader who will encourage our congregation’s voice. We serve a great God who ought to be praised with every part of our lives, including music. We value deeply rooted theological songs that speak clearly the attributes of God. This person will need to shepherd God’s flock while leading with a missional urgency. Our worship pastor will need a joyful humility in their leadership. A prayerful dependency is vital part of our worship. This pastor and worship leader should love making joyful passionate disciples of Jesus as they oversee ministry teams.

Calvary Summitview affirms the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Our philosophy of worship prioritizes honoring God, edifying His church by singing the gospel “with one voice.” The worship pastor must have competency to relationally shepherd people. Compensation

  • $12k-$50k

  • Must become an active member.
  • Must encourage and recruit volunteers to serve in ministry.
  • Must display Christ-like servant leadership and joyful, passionate pursuit of Jesus.

Scope of Responsibility

Shepherding:

  • Overseeing and empowering volunteers of multiple ministry teams.
  • Shepherding people from up front, on Sundays and through the week.
  • Shepherding new people and members with notes, texts, calls and visits.
  • Expectations of full-time capacity:
    • 3 evenings of ministry and not more.
    • 40 hours and not more.

Worship service:

  • Working with the lead pastor to develop the weekly worship service.
  • Leading practice each week for new and growing team members.
  • Leading the prayer huddle before service.
  • Helping people experience God through the gospel.
