Here are the Big Three announcements we want you to know about!
“A TASTE OF SWAZILAND” EVENT – 1/19
“A Taste of Swaziland” evening will be held at Calvary Summitview on Friday, January 19th at 6:00 pm, hosted by Tom and Barbee Stanfield. Mxolisi and Erica Myeni, missionaries in Swaziland, will be sharing about how God has been working in Swaziland through their ministry, Wetsembekile (which means “God is Faithful”) Ministries. A Swazi meal will be served prior to the program, and we will hear from people who have traveled to Swaziland lately.
CALVARY SUMMITVIEW LADIES BRUNCH – 1/20
On Saturday, January 20th, we will be hosting a women’s ministry brunch. It will go from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, and will be a potluck-style brunch. This will be followed by a “white elephant” gift exchange! This means that we do not want you to spend money on a gift to share. Grab something from your home that you do not use or that you think someone else may like! Look for the signup sheet on Sunday so you can let us know what dish you will bring. See you there!
MEMBERSHIP SUNDAY – 1/21
On Sunday, January 21st, we will be celebrating the official recognition of members at Calvary Summitview during our worship service! Church membership is a gift from God, and so we want to celebrate it together! If you have decided to be a member of Calvary Summitview, please join us on 1/21.
