WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

ASSIST WITH HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF
Calvary Summitview, along with other churches in the Calvary Family of Churches, are in the beginning stages of organizing a trip in conjunction with churches in Houston. Please be praying about this opportunity, and talk to Gabe ASAP if interested – gabe@thecalvary.org. This is one way for us to serve our brothers and sisters who have been devastated by the recent storm.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY HELP NEEDED
Wondering where you might be able to help at Calvary Summitview? Children’s ministry volunteers are needed! We are looking specifically for 3-4 people who would be willing to help serve in the nursery one time a month. Are older kids more your style? Then we could still use your help teaching the preschool or elementary classes. Lessons are provided and it’s a great way to both serve and grow. These classes will be a great time to answer the above questions and more! Each class will contain membership orientation, food for all, and a Q&A time where you can ask Gabe almost anything! DNA GROUPS
Are you interested in a deeper discipleship group? DNA groups are perfect for you! Gabe is currently working on putting small groups together that tackle a specific area of needed spiritual growth each semester. These groups are gospel-centered and encouraging as we walk in discipleship together! Please contact Gabe at gabe@thecalvary.org if you are interested and would like more information.
COMMUNITY GROUPS BEGIN NEXT WEEK!!
Community groups begin again the week of 9/25! This is a great way to get involved at Calvary Summitview. A core commitment of Calvary Summitview is to grow together… and that is exactly what happens in community groups! We will meet one night a week for a couple hours of eating a meal together and studying the Bible together. This Fall, we have THREE community groups – one on Sunday nights, and two on Thursday nights! Signups are available at the back of the sanctuary at the church.
